West Ham not happy with Nikola Vlasic terms, insider claims

Nikola Vlasic is allegedly set to leave West Ham United this summer with Italian side Torino chasing the Croatian.

That’s according to high-level insiders Claret and Hugh who claim that the Hammers want a straight sale whilst Torino want to loan the 24-year-old play-maker.

Nikola Vlasic has already been heavily linked with an exit from the London Stadium after an underwhelming debut season in the Premier League.

David Moyes is said to be happy to let the man who he brought to the London Stadium leave the club this summer.

Vlasic joined West Ham from CSKA Moscow last summer for around £33 million (Evening Standard).

The 24-year-old has really struggled to establish himself at the London Stadium but in all fairness to him, he hasn’t really been given much of a chance to prove himself in the Claret and Blue.

The 39-capped Croatia international was given just 1637 minutes spread over 36 appearances last term (Transfermarkt). That works out at an average of just 45 minutes per game.

Vlasic clearly hasn’t impressed David Moyes so far on the pitch. And the Scot appears to have made his mind up on the former CSKA Moscow play-maker…

Vlasic set to leave West Ham

Claret and Hugh reckon that Torino are trying to sign the Croatian international on loan.

West Ham would prefer a straight sale though and are happy to let him leave the London Stadium, although it is known that we would make a huge loss on the 24-year-old.

West Ham would even be open to a loan deal with an obligation to buy Vlasic next season.

Moyes clearly isn’t a fan of the 24-year-old, so a loan move away from the London Stadium for the 2022/23 season seems to be the ideal solution.

That way he can get some regular action in Italy and perhaps prove what he’s truly capable of.

Moving Vlasic on is the right call

Club insider ExWHUemployee claims that Vlasic is on around £70k-a-week at the London Stadium. As things stand, he hasn’t been worth the money that we paid for him, that’s for sure.

And it remains to be seen whether his exit will coincide with Torino signing him on loan with an obligation or on a permanent deal.

One would imagine that the Hammers would be open to a straight loan deal too, as long as Torino paid a large fee.

West Ham moving on Vlasic is the right call. He was a poor signing and the sooner we get rid of him, the better in my opinion…for his sake as well as the club’s.
