West Ham United have named their Europa League group stage 25-man squad with two very notable omissions.
The 2023/24 Europa League campaign group stage kicks off for West Ham after the current international break.

Hammers boss David Moyes named 24 players to his ’25-man list’ list, and his selection can be seen via WHUFC.com.
Most of the names on the list were pretty much expected.
However, there are two notable players missing from the list…

Moyes selected 24 players for the Europa League group stage matches.
Not on the list are Jesse Lingard and Divin Mubama – both surprising omissions.
Mubama has been registered on the ‘B’ list of players – a list comprised of players born on or after 1 January 2002 and since their 15th birthday have been registered with West Ham for at least 24 months.
However, the players on this list must be submitted by no later than midnight CET on the day before a specific game, if they are to be included in a match-day squad.
Fair enough that Lingard’s not on the list – he isn’t our player yet after all!
But Mubama’s omission from the West Ham Europa League squad really was a surprising one to say the least. That said, Moyes has clearly only named 24 in his ‘A’ list so that Mubama can jump up into the senior squad as and when he’s needed.
And then, West Ham will be able to add two new players to that list, should we make the knockout stages. Let’s hope we get that far…
