West Ham United fans will absolutely love what £5m man Vladimir Coufal did during the goal celebrations against Spurs.

There is no love lost between West Ham and Tottenham Hotspur and games between the two are always packed with incident and talking points.

Wednesday night’s 1-1 draw at the London Stadium was no different as West Ham came from behind to take a share of the spoils but were left gutted it was not more.

West Ham secured the draw thanks to a lovely goal from their big Czech star Tomas Soucek.

But it was something his compatriot Coufal did after the leveller that has tongues wagging in West Ham circles.

The Hammers equaliser came as the result of some quick-thinking from Coufal as he bellowed at a ball boy to speed up so he could take a throw-in to catch Spurs off-guard.

Coufal then quickly arrowed a throw at the feet of Michail Antonio whose clever flick found the on-rushing Soucek to power the ball past Spurs ‘keeper Hugo Lloris.

The players wheeled away to enjoy the moment with the Hammers faithful.

But West Ham fans will absolutely love what Coufal did during the goal celebrations against Spurs.

As West Ham’s players headed back to the halfway line for the restart, the right-back made a beeline for the ball boy who had thrown him the ball and gave him a massive high five to say thanks.

TV cameras do not seem to have picked the brilliant moment up but plenty of West Ham fans witnessed it and lapped it up.

A pre-assist for the ball boy, not many can say that.

Hopefully footage will emerge of the magic moment afterwards too.

A decidedly more positive experience for the ball boy at the London Stadium than it was for the one on the sidelines during West Ham’s ill-tempered Europa League semi-final clash in Frankfurt back in May.

That night David Moyes was sent off for volleying the ball at a ball boy!
