The 32-year-old scored an absolutely sensational free-kick against Everton at the London Stadium on Sunday.

Cresswell has bagged just 10 goals in 283 games for West Ham (Transfermarkt).

After watching his goal against Everton on Sunday, many West Ham fans were asking why he doesn’t score more regularly.

And those questions will increase ten-fold after a video emerged yesterday showing the West Ham ace in action during a training session:

That really is great to watch.

Cresswell’s left foot has to be up there with the very best in the game.

It’s a shame that he’s going to be 33 before the end of the year. David Moyes needs to bring in a truly elite left-back to replace the Liverpool-born defender during the course of the next 12 months.

And the video showing the West Ham ace in action yesterday proved just how good Aaron Cresswell actually is. Perhaps he doesn’t get enough credit for his technical ability outside the London Stadium.

Those involved with West Ham all appreciate just how good he is though. And it will be a sad day when he eventually leaves the club.
