Tomas Soucek has taken to Twitter to post a message of thanks to the fans after reports claimed West Ham could sell him this summer.

According to Football Insider, Hammers boss David Moyes is prepared to let the 27-year-old leave the London Stadium in the summer transfer window.

Claret and Hugh also suggested that the Czech Republic international could be moved on by West Ham before the start of next season.

Sky Sports have countered those claims by suggesting that the Hammers actually have no intention of selling Soucek though.

And despite his patchy form this season, we believe that that is the right decision.

Soucek’s worst attribute is his passing ability and the way in which he slows down our transition. So it’s baffling that he has been asked to play the so-called ‘anchor role’ for West Ham this term. It just doesn’t make sense.

Hopefully Moyes can see that and returns big Tomas to a more attacking role next term.

Tomas Soucek posts Twitter message after reports claim West Ham could sell him

Sky Sports claiming that the midfielder won’t be sold is good news.

He is vitally important to the Hammers, especially from an aerial perspective with his strength in the air.

The Czech ace is a very popular figure amongst the fans at the London Stadium.

And Soucek posted a thank you message to the West Ham supporters after what has been a long and physically punishing season…

Whatever you think about Soucek, one thing that he cannot be accused of is a lack of commitment and fight.

The Czech midfielder puts absolutely everything on the line for West Ham every single time he steps foot on the pitch.

Let’s hope that next season is a better one for Soucek and and even better one for West Ham.
