David Moyes could be sacked as West Ham United manager BEFORE the Everton game this weekend, after incredible new claims.

The Hammers have been woeful this season, as have Everton, and Saturday’s game is an absolutely huge one for both sides.

Moyes is walking on really thin ice at the London Stadium at the moment, and has received huge criticism from the fans, as well as pundits such as Simon Jordan.

Saturday’s game will be a battle between two really poor teams. A defeat for either manager will undoubtedly see them lose their jobs. A draw will probably end up in the same result.

However, it seems as though the Hammers board have already lost patience with Moyes, and could make a huge decision before the Everton game…

David Moyes could be sacked within the next few days

According to a report from 90 Min, the West Ham board could make the incredibly bold decision to part ways with Moyes before we take on Everton on Saturday afternoon.

Now, don’t get me wrong, I’m not against it one little bit. I just want the man gone now. Having said that, sacking Moyes now really would reek of questionable timing.

Why not do it before the World Cup? Why not do it after the Arsenal and Brentford games when it was clear to see that we had regressed even further still?

It has been clear to see for some time now that Moyes is absolutely clueless as to how to excavate his side from the position that they’re currently in.

All of our problems have been caused by the Scot’s reluctance to strengthen key areas that need addressing (new full-backs), and his resistance to change his dull, turgid and incredibly tired footballing philosophy.

Rather than embrace real positivity and take the club forward over the last year, Moyes has allowed a deep malaise to set in at the London Stadium. It kind of feels like Moyes is happier managing without the pressure of a top six battle, and would prefer just to plod along in mid-table with a workmanlike team and little investment.

The problem for him now is that the spotlight is firmly on him after his summer spend. He can’t be THAT manager anymore, but unfortunately he has proven that he is incapable of changing.

Complacency has seeped into the players, and in my opinion, he has lost that dressing room. The sooner he is gone, the better for the Hammers.

Having said all of that, the report claiming that David Moyes could be sacked before the Everton game still comes as a huge surprise, and I would be shocked if it happened.
