One of West Ham United’s most promising young players is currently out on loan in League One.

West Ham manager David Moyes has so many talented young players amongst his ranks at the London Stadium, and he will be hoping that the loan system in England serves one of them in particular very well this season.

Krisztian Hegyi joined the Hertfordshire outfit on a season-long loan from West Ham in the summer.

He has made a decent start in League one, letting in four goals in four games and keeping one clean sheet in the process (Transfermarkt).

The young Hungarian has all the makings of a top-class goalkeeper, and he clearly has the mentality to match…

Hegyi has been speaking to Hungarian media outlet M4 Sport, and suggested that the physicality of League One will be good for his development.

The 20-year-old insisted that the next step for him will be to represent West Ham in the first-team, or at least be part of match-day squads.

Hegyi has been described as ‘sensational’ by the Hammers’ official website. And the young Hungarian has impressed pretty much every time he has gloved up for West Ham’s youth team.

Standing at 6ft 4in, the talented goalkeeper is an absolute giant of a man. He commands his area with authority and is an excellent shot-stopper.

I reckon that Hegyi will be a top-class player for us when he matures.

Let’s hope that the West Ham youngster’s loan spell with Stevenage goes really well.
