Said Benrahma was speaking about his mum on Mother’s Day yesterday and named three West Ham players who she absolutely loves.
The 26-year-old has shown what he is capable of in a West Ham shirt this season and has made big improvements from last term.

Benrahma has bagged nine goals and six assists in 38 games in all competitions for the Hammers this season (Transfermarkt). That’s a fairly healthy return.
And if he can add another three goals and three assists or something like that between now and the end of the season, it will have to go down as a successful one for the Algerian international.

That kind of return would go a long way to helping West Ham achieve success as a team this season as well.
We are currently sitting in seventh spot in the Premier League table and the race for the top six is really beginning to heat up.
David Moyes has assembled a very strong group of players at the London Stadium. Benrahma is one of the very best on his day in our view.
But the 26-year-old’s mother is a big fan of three others in particular.
Said Benrahma names three West Ham players his mum loves
Benny sat down for an exclusive interview with the club’s official website and responded when asked whether his mother has any favourites at the London Stadium:

“She really likes Manuel Lanzini and Declan Rice, because she likes players who have good technique. Also, Michail Antonio, because she reckons he’s strong. She likes everyone really, she’s a real fan. Generally, she takes an interest in everyone.”
Great choices Mrs Benrahma!
She attends every home game at the London Stadium and has made somewhat of a name for herself this season with her passionate support of her son.
Let’s hope that her son, Lanzini, Rice, Antonio and co give her something special to cheer about between now and May.
West Ham are still well in the race to secure a second consecutive top six finish and have a Europa League quarter-final clash with Lyon to look forward to next week. These really are great times to be a Hammers fan.
And long may that continue.
