Russell Brand has sent a strong message to Declan Rice this morning, urging him to stay at West Ham United.
The 23-year-old has been in sensational form for the Hammers this season.
He has been the best and most consistent player at the London Stadium over the past three years in fact.

It is clear and obvious to see that Rice has reached an entirely new level this season, however. He is like a thoroughbred. He’s powerful, energetic, dynamic and is arguably the best in the world in his specific position.

The England international has transformed into an all-action, box-to-box midfielder and is one of the most highly sought after players ahead of the summer transfer window.
Premier League giants Manchester City, Manchester United and Chelsea all allegedly want to sign Dec in the summer (The Telegraph).
He has been advised to stay in East London by one of the Hammers’ most famous fans though…
Russell Brand has strong advice for Declan Rice
The world famous comedian is a massive West Ham fan and often goes to games when he is in the country.
Brand spoke to talkSPORT this morning and urged Rice to stay at the London Stadium and become a hero in the process:

“Don’t go Declan, stay. Be the Trevor Brooking of our time. Don’t go the route of everyone. Stay, become a hero Declan. We love you. I know Chelsea was your first love and it’s obvious they’re going to come calling. But we love you more. You can be everything for us. Be Devonshire, MacAvennie, Paolo Di Canio all rolled into one. Stay Declan, we love you.”
Let’s hope that Declan listens to Brand!
In order for Rice to stay at West Ham though, the Hammers owners absolutely must match his ambition in the transfer market in the summer.
David Moyes needs to make three or four top-class signings. And David Sullivan and David Gold should back him to the hilt in the summer.
The Scot has done such a magnificent job since returning to the London Stadium but it does sometimes feel like he’s working with one hand tied behind his back.
If Moyes is to guide West Ham to the promised land, then he needs more support. The additions of a few world-class players will be an absolute must this summer if the Hammers are to make some genuine progress as a football club.
It will be integral to our hopes of keeping hold of Declan Rice as well.
