A reporter has said he did not see a player who wants to leave West Ham United in training before the Silkeborg clash.
There has been much speculation about the future of highly-rated young defender Harrison Ashby over the last few weeks.
West Ham fans were extremely unhappy at the prospect of losing swashbuckling young full-back Ashby to Newcastle on deadline day while Leeds United were also said to be interested (The Daily Mail).

In the end Ashby remained at West Ham with David Moyes unable to bring in another right sided defender.
There has even been talk the 20-year-old Scotland youth international could be sold for a paltry fee in January to avoid him leaving the Hammers for nothing.
West Ham fans keen to see Ashby stay had hoped he may get the game time he craves in Europa Conference League and domestic cup games.
But it seems that will not be the case.

Because a reporter says he did not see the player who wants to leave West Ham in training before Silkeborg.
Football.London’s Jonty Colman is out in Denmark for the Silkeborg clash and was asked about Ashby by Hammers fans.
And the reporter’s response suggests Ashby will not be involved.
“I did not see Ashby in open training yesterday,” Colman said on Twitter.
If Ashby is injured that has not been communicated by West Ham.
If fit and not involved then it raises serious question marks over Ashby’s West Ham future with the January window just over three months away.
But there did seem to be some hope the Hammers might be able to convince Ashby to stay when he took to social media with a simple post after the window had closed.
