The 25-year-old has been quite simply superb for the Hammers over the past four pre-season games.
Benrahma scored two cracking goals, one against Celtic and one against Brentford.
The Algerian ace was in inspired form once again yesterday against Atalanta.

He chalked up an assist for Antonio’s goal and was a constant menace throughout the entire game
Michail Antonio raves about West Ham teammate
The Hammers fans are expecting big things from Benny this season. And it seems as though his teammates may be as well.
Michail Antonio spoke to West Ham TV after the game and praised Benrahma:

“The boy’s been on fire yeh, the boy has been on fire.”
He’s not wrong.
Hopefully Benrahma can translate this form into the Premier League when the action kicks off next weekend.
David Moyes deserves a lot of credit. He eased Benrahma in slowly last season. I campaigned for the Scot to use the 25-year-old more regularly but it has to be said that it seems as though he got it spot on.

Benrahma seems like a different player to the one we saw last season. He looks fit and strong and is oozing confidence. This season could very well be Benny’s time to shine for the East London outfit.
