And because of that, he will be enjoying some much-needed rest.
Rice has been sensational for West Ham this season.
The England international has been brilliant for us for the past few years but it seems as though he has reached a new level entirely this season.
Dec is undoubtedly the most valuable and important player David Moyes has at his disposal at the London Stadium.

He is actually indispensable to the Hammers. Even if we sold him for £100 million plus what would we achieve?

Rice is absolutely vital to everything good that we do.
He seems more than happy at West Ham so if we can match his ambition both on the pitch and off it in the transfer market, there is every reason to believe that he will stay in East London.
