The official West Ham website has dropped a big hint that the 19-year-old son of one ex-Hammer could start vs FCSB tomorrow.
The Hammers have already qualified for the knockout stages of the UEFA Europa Conference League, having won all five of our group games so far.
As a result, tomorrow night’s clash is Romania is one where David Moyes can really rotate his starting XI.
The West Ham fans want to see a lineup featuring many of our talented youngsters, and under no circumstances should any of our key players take to the field.
And it seems as though one of our most impressive young stars could be ready to make only his second appearance for the senior side…

There are plenty of exciting young talents coming through the ranks at the London Stadium at the moment.

Freddie Potts has had to be patient this season, but his reward for that patience could come at the unlikely venue of the National Arena in Bucharest this week.
A year after making his first-team debut as a substitute in a UEFA Europa League tie with Dinamo Zagreb at London Stadium, the midfielder could be in line for his second senior appearance in Thursday’s UEFA Europa Conference League Group B tie with FCSB in Romania.
Tomorrow’s Europa Conference League game is a complete free hit for West Ham and David Moyes.
So the Scot has absolutely nothing to lose by fielding a team full of youngsters, perhaps alongside two or three senior pros just to help their younger counterparts through the game.
The Hammers’ superb form during the first five games of the group stage has given Moyes the freedom to try out the likes of Freddie Potts tomorrow night.
It seems clear to me that the official West Ham website have dropped a big hint that Freddie Potts could start vs FCSB.
And I would love to see that happen.
It’s time for us to see whether these supremely talented young players have what it takes to play at the highest level.
And a clash against the Romanian side will be the ideal opportunity for Moyes to throw the likes of Potts into action.
