And if Man City go all out for the 20-year-old, the Hammers may well have their work cut-out.

Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola could be set to make it mission impossible for West Ham, however.

If De Ketelaere has a straight choice between the London Stadium and The Etihad, even the most ardent of Hammers fans would agree that the answer is an obvious one.

Manchester City join West Ham in Charles De Ketelaere race

Calciomercato reckon that City are keen to sign the 20-year-old forward.

And that is an obvious blow for the Hammers.

De Ketelaere is such an incredible talent and would be a truly sensational addition to David Moyes’s ranks.

The Belgian ace is comfortable playing anywhere along the front-line. He has exceptional technique and is very quick along the ground.

The youngster was described as an attacker with ‘fantastic trickery’ by Eurosport.

The two-capped Belgium international has been in fine form for Club Brugge so far this season, bagging four goals and three assists in 13 games (Transfermarkt).

The 20-year-old is available for around £21 million according to a report from Goal.

That would represent superb value for West Ham.
