Football journalist Alex Barker has made a hugely exciting claim about Nayef Aguerd that will really excite the West Ham fans.
Aguerd made his competitive debut for the Hammers last night against Silkeborg in the UEFA Europa Conference League.
David Moyes brought Aguerd to the London Stadium from Rennes for around £30 million in the summer transfer window (BBC).
However, the 26-year-old injured his ankle during a pre-season friendly against Rangers back in July, and subsequently underwent surgery.

The former Rennes ace playing last night has given the West Ham fans hope that he may in fact be ready for some Premier League action though.
And there is more good news for the Hammers faithful to digest about the Moroccan…
Journalist makes big Nayef Aguerd claim that will really excite West Ham fans
The 27-year-old looks like the real deal.
And Football expert Alex Barker has given the West Ham fans even more reasons to be really excited by Aguerd:
When the Moroccan is fully fit, he will undoubtedly completely change the way West Ham play as a team.
Considering the current central defensive injury crisis that David Moyes has on his hands, the 26-year-old’s return to action could not have come at a better time.
Aguerd is a truly elite centre-back and the fact that he’s left-footed will enable Kurt Zouma to move back to his preferred right centre-back position.
Thilo Kehrer can then play in the right-back position that he has made his own in recent weeks.
Aguerd’s ability to pass out from the back should enable us to become more of a possession-based side – just like David Moyes apparently wants us to be.
And his rapid pace will help us play further up the pitch as a team, without being as concerned about leaving space in behind.
His all-round ability has been really missed at the London Stadium this season.
It seems as though Nayef Aguerd will soon be a regular feature in this West Ham team though. And Alex Barker has given us even more reason to be excited by the Moroccan centre-back.
