It’s time for David Moyes to make bold Michail Antonio and Gianluca Scamacca call for West Ham vs Crystal Palace clash.

The Hammers play host to Palace at the London Stadium tomorrow in the two o’clock Premier League kick-off.

Moyes will be desperate for his team to rack up six points from our final two Premier League games before the break for the World Cup, and so will the West Ham fans.

Two wins from the games against Palace and Leicester City should see us comfortably inside the top ten heading into the World Cup break.

One thing that West Ham need to do vs Crystal Palace is set up to win the game from the start. Go at them and put them under pressure from the first whistle.

And in order to do that, Moyes must do something that he hasn’t done yet this season…

Moyes must start Antonio and Scamacca for West Ham vs Crystal Palace

The Italian has established himself as the Hammers’ number one striker over the past month or so, with Antonio playing a bit-part role from the bench.

Scamacca was signed from Sassuolo in the summer for around £35 million (Sky Sports), whilst Antonio joined West Ham from Nottingham Forest in 2015 for £7 million (BBC).

The 23-year-old is technically brilliant, and has exceptional hold up play. Meanwhile, the 32-year-old has the ability to run defences ragged with penetrating runs in behind.

And Moyes needs to use both of them alongside one another tomorrow.

I actually think that their respective abilities could complement each other really well.

Tomorrow’s clash vs Crystal Palace is the ideal moment in time for Moyes to roll the dice. Nothing less than three points will do for West Ham.

The Eagles backline is physically strong in general and we can’t afford to have Scamacca isolated up top on his own against them.

Having Michail Antonio playing alongside the Italian would solve that potential issue in an instant.

Whether Moyes is brave enough to start both strikers for West Ham vs Crystal Palace remains to be seen though.
