West Ham insiders Claret and Hugh have claimed that Craig Dawson has been playing through serious pain and injury over the past few weeks but will be ok to face Leicester.
The 31-year-old is set to play against Leicester on Sunday, as he continues to put the team ahead of his own personal recovery.
Dawson has been magnificent for West Ham since David Moyes brought him to the London Stadium in October 2020.
The job that the experienced centre-back has done for West Ham has been nothing short of brilliant over the past 16 months.
He is ever reliable and you can always be assured that he will give nothing less than 100% for the Hammers.
Dawson may have his critics but one thing that he can’t be faulted for is his commitment to the team.
West Ham insider provides big injury update ahead of Leicester clash
Claret and Hugh suggest that the 31-year-old has been playing through injury for weeks without a word of complaint.
He is prepared to go again on Sunday against Leicester though. What a man.
Claret and Hugh claim that their source has told them:
“He is a quite extraordinary professional. He’s been playing through injury for weeks but shrugs it off and always makes himself available for games. We should all be very proud of Daws.”
What a brilliant professional Craig Dawson is. We will need him to be at his absolute best on Sunday afternoon against Leicester, just as he was against Watford on Tuesday night.
West Ham have a real chance of finishing inside the top four this season. We are currently ahead of Manchester United, Arsenal and Tottenham.
All of those teams have games in hand over us, but they’ve got to win them. Tottenham proved last night that that isn’t always an easy thing to do when you are trying to catch up with those above you in the table.
Leicester away on Sunday is a huge game for the Hammers. A win at the King Power Stadium would put us in a really strong position as the race for the top four heats up.
And having Craig Dawson available for selection once again will be a big boost for West Ham as we try to beat Leicester for the fourth consecutive Premier League game.
