Ian Wright says West Ham made a ‘very good’ signing in the summer

Ian Wright thinks that West Ham United have a really good player on their hands in the form of Lucas Paqueta.

David Moyes brought the 25-year-old to the London Stadium from Lyon for around £51 million in the summer transfer window (The Sun).

Paqueta already looks like he will be a superb signing for the Hammers.

He is an incredible footballer and possesses exceptional technical ability. He has so much more about him than that though. The Brazilian seems like he’s perfectly suited to the aggressive nature of Premier League football.

David Moyes has already outlined just how impressed he has been with Paqueta. And it seems as though the 25-year-old is attracting admirers from outside the London Stadium as well…

Ian Wright raves about West Ham star Lucas Paqueta

The South American star has already endeared himself to the London Stadium faithful.

And Wright has been very impressed with him as well, telling Premier League Productions (05/09/22 at 2:45 pm) that Paqueta is a very good signing for the Hammers:

“I think Paqueta. He signed for West Ham. I think he is also going to be a good signing. Really good player, a left-footer for Brazil.”

Wright isn’t wrong there is he.

Paqueta really does look like a very special player indeed.

Hopefully he will go on to have a long and prosperous career with the Hammers.

Moyes deserves huge credit for bringing Lucas Paqueta to West Ham. Exciting times lie ahead for the Brazilian and the Hammers fans.
