The Hammers welcome Spurs to the London Stadium for the highly anticipated London derby.

Tottenham currently sit above us in the Premier League table but a win tomorrow and we will leapfrog our London rivals.

West Ham head into the match on Sunday on the back of a win in Europe on Thursday night.

Tottenham, meanwhile, lost their Europa Conference League clash with Vitesse.

The Hammers have a decent record against Spurs recently having won two and drawn one of our last five meetings.

The one that sticks in everyone’s memory, however, is our dramatic come from behind 3-3 draw with Tottenham at their place last season.

Angelo Ogbonna stokes fire ahead of West Ham vs Tottenham

The Italian centre-half reminisced about that incredible game when speaking to The Mirror:

“They thought the game was over. I saw their faces. But they didn’t know about West Ham. The new West Ham! I think it’s part of the West Ham character. I always say that the team here makes me proud. The moment we are struggling, we are fighting, we survive. All Italians are like that. When Italians struggle, we survive. It’s the best moment. We knew it. We knew we could come back. Sometimes football is unpredictable. We want to do something more against Tottenham. Every fan can feel that. We are looking forward to it.”

Oggy has certainly stoked the fire there.

Bullishly claiming that the Spurs players were complacent against the Hammers last season will definitely get under their skin.

Tottenham won’t underestimate us this time around, that’s for sure.
