Said Benrahma was taken off by David Moyes midway through the second-half on Saturday for West Ham against Newcastle.
It was the 18th time that the Hammers attacker has been substituted this season – more than any other player in the Premier League.

The Algeria international wasn’t great against Newcastle. In fact he wasn’t very good at all, but there were plenty of West Ham players who were playing a lot worse.

If West Ham are to have any chance of finishing inside the top six this season we need every single player singing from the same hymn sheet.
That unison and squad harmony was what made us so good last season and during the first-half of this term.

There have been a few cracks appearing of late with many of our key players worryingly out of form.
There is still a long way to go though and a few wins in a row will put us right back in pole position for another European finish.
Benrahma is a key player for West Ham and it is absolutely vital that he is on top form both physically and mentally between now and the end of the season.
He is the type of player who needs his ego massaged. Moyes clearly doesn’t do that with him but whilst it might not be a match made in heaven, we need everyone pulling in the same direction.
And on-form Said Benrahma could make a very big difference for the Hammers between now and May as we fight for success on three different fronts.
