The diminutive Argentinian ace was in sensational form at Selhurst Park yesterday evening.

Lanzini dictated the tempo of the game for West Ham and was involved in everything good we did going forward.

The 28-year-old seems like he has rediscovered his best form over the past six weeks or so. Do we have the old Lanzini back??? It certainly seems that way.

“Unbelievable…they call him ‘The Jewel’ and he’s magic. The guy has come back from his knee injury, it’s taken time, but now you can see the quality he had when he first came. He’s showing it again and we’re happy that we’ve got The Jewel back!”

That’s exactly what the West Ham fans have been saying.

We’ve got our Lanzini back!

Manu joined the Hammers from Al Jazira on loan in the summer of 2015. He then made his move to East London a permanent one in 2016 for around £8 million (ESPN).

Lanzini was brilliant for West Ham during his first couple of years in East London but he regressed badly after suffering an ACL injury in the summer of 2018.

There have been genuine signs that he is now back to his absolute best, however.

He is hugely popular figure at the London Stadium.
