That’s according to reliable West Ham insider ExWHUemployee.
Speaking in his latest West Ham Way podcast (December 9th), Ex says Hammers co-owner David Sullivan has cut off email communication with all sources.
West Ham known as one of the leakiest clubs around
West Ham are rather unique in that a lot of the club’s business during the tenure of Sullivan, David Gold and Karren Brady has been aired in public.
Whether it is ITKs such as ExWHUemployee or Claret & Hugh bringing news from behind the Hammers curtain.
Or the likes of owners David Sullivan and David Gold and their vice-chairman Karren Brady giving interviews and writing in columns about the goings on at West Ham.
Some fans lap up the tidbits of information coming from behind the scenes at West Ham.
Others feel the club looks amateurish and unprofessional as a result of all the leaks. Particularly when it comes to transfers.
Moyes demanded clampdown on all leaks from the top down
Insiders Claret & Hugh – who have had direct links to the owners – claimed in October that Moyes is clamping down on leaks.
They said Moyes had warned everybody at the club from the board down that he will not tolerate it.
“The 57 year old has briefed everybody inside the London Stadium with information on sensitive team issues that he will not stand for the condition of his players and team selections escaping into the public domain,” Claret & Hugh claim.
“His demand goes from board members down to academy level with numerous individuals coming into possession of such information.
“He was well known at his previous clubs for the same attitude but has his work cut out at West Ham which is widely regarded as one of the leakiest clubs in the Premier League.”
Moyes finally silences Sullivan as ExWHUemployee makes revelation
Well it appears Sullivan has been successfully silenced by the no-nonsense Scot, who is clearly emboldened by the excellent job he is doing at West Ham.
That’s if ExWHUemployee’s claims are anything to go by.
“Funnily if you try to email David Sullivan – as in the David Sullivan – to get your information, if you go by the email address which many people seem to have now, you’ll get a notification that tells you that he will ‘no longer be responding to emails of this nature’,” ExWHUemployee revealed on TWHW podcast (December 9th).
“He’s not accepting emails anymore so whether that’s a sign of him trying to close down leaks or not I don’t know.
“But what I would suspect it is, is that everybody had his email address. I’ve said it before on the podcast, you could literally write to him – and I think thousands did – and if he was in the right mood he would tell you news.”
Shock as West Ham star is ruled out for the foreseeable future and Moyes didn’t mention it
