West Ham boss David Moyes has finally got his hands on a top-class striker having had Michail Antonio as his only option through the middle at the London Stadium since January 2021.
Scamacca will undoubtedly be a huge hit at West Ham. He has already endeared himself to the Hammers fans after he admitted that many other top clubs wanted to sign him but he moved to the London Stadium because he gave Moyes his word.

What a man!
The 23-year-old has big shoes to fill in East London. West Ham have had some great Italian players throughout the years including the likes of Paolo Di Canio, Alessandro Diamanti and David Di Michele.
And the latter has been speaking fondly to Scamacca about his time with the Hammers…
Gianluca Scamacca opens up on what Di Michele told him about West Ham
The 23-year-old striker seems to be the perfect fit for the Hammers, what with his passion, commitment and aggressive nature.
And Scamacca shared what ex-Hammer David Di Michele told him about the West Ham fans, when speaking to journalist James Richardson during an interview for the club’s official Twitter account:

“He said the fans gave him goosebumps. Very passionate support.”
That’s great to hear. The Italians are passionate by nature so Gianluca Scamacca and the West Ham fans should be a match made in heaven.
Let’s hope that he goes on to have a long and prosperous career at the London Stadium.
We cannot wait to see him in action in the Claret and Blue.
