I can’t wait to play and show the supporters what I can do in the West Ham shirt – I hope we will love each other.”
We cannot wait to see the Italian in action in the famous Claret and Blue.
The 23-year-old is an absolute unit. He stands at 6ft 5in tall but don’t let that fool you, he’s so much more than a bog-standard target man.
Scamacca has incredible mobility for a big man and possesses exceptional movement inside the box.
Sempre Inter recently described the towering striker as an ‘unbelievable’ player.
He will certainly provide stiff competition for Michail Antonio at the London Stadium.
Scamacca possesses exceptional technique and has one of the most ferocious shots in the game at his disposal.
The 23-year-old bagged 16 goals in 36 Serie A appearances for Sassuolo last season (Transfermarkt). He really is a very good all-round striker.
The Italian should suit our playing style perfectly.
And it shouldn’t be too long now before we see Gianluca Scamacca playing in a West Ham shirt.
