West Ham beat Crystal Palace 3-2 at Selhurst Park yesterday and the home fans were very impressed by one Hammer in particular.
The Hammers were 3-0 up at half-time but Palace fought back to make it a very interesting finish to the game.
David Moyes would have been delighted with his side’s win but bitterly disappointed with their defending.
There were a few players who were absolutely brilliant for West Ham against the Eagles.
Manuel Lanzini seems to be back to his best whilst Michail Antonio and Said Benrahma put in excellent displays as well. There was one Hammer who was head and shoulders above the rest though.

Declan Rice has been so good for the Hammers over the past two or three years.
He has firmly established himself as one of the very best players in his specific position in world football.
The West Ham midfielder seems to have reached another level entirely over the past four or five months.
The 22-year-old was exceptional once again for West Ham against Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park yesterday.
He registered an assist for Lanzini’s first goal and constantly drove his team forward with a swashbuckling, all-action performance.
The Hammers ace provided valuable cover for his defenders as well.
Rice is undoubtedly the most important player David Moyes has at his disposal at the London Stadium. The West Ham fans absolutely love him and the feeling is mutual.
It seems as though fans outside East London appreciate the England international as well though. It’s about time isn’t it!
