Declan Rice has hailed the impact of coach Kevin Nolan at West Ham United.
Club chief lifts lid on price for West Ham target and explains why he may have to sell
Nolan was a fantastic captain for West Ham and big fan favourite as a player.
He dropped down to the Championship to sign for the Hammers despite being in his prime having just scored 12 Premier League goals for Newcastle the season before.

Leader Nolan proving as much of an inspiration off the pitch as he was on it
And he proved inspirational as he led West Ham back to the Premier League following relegation and helped re-establish the Hammers in the top flight.
David Moyes made the astute decision to bring Nolan back to the club as part of his coaching setup last year.
And West Ham supporters have loved seeing Nolan’s passion on the sidelines.
The Hammers coach has also reportedly been a key figure in devising set pieces with West Ham scoring 13 so far – the most in the Premier League.

Rice says he ‘couldn’t be happier’ working with ‘legend’
Nolan has also been a big influence in the dressing room too according to a number of West Ham stars and Moyes himself. And it is no coincidence the club is enjoying it’s best season for 35 years.
Now West Ham’s most important player, Declan Rice, has spoken out about working with Nolan.
And Rice said on Twitter that he ‘couldn’t be happier’ having Nolan as part of Moyes’s coaching setup.
“Incredible person, couldn’t be any happier that he’s now a part of the coaching staff,” Rice said on Twitter.
“This just shows how much of a legend he actually is.”
Rice was commenting on a video posted by West Ham’s media team where Nolan watches some of his best West Ham goals and moments back.
The former skipper shows just how much he cares, speaking passionately about all things West Ham. And he even gets emotional watching the play-off final victory back.
The video will make West Ham fans love ‘Nobby’ even more.

Rice happiness key as man behind the scenes at West Ham also hails Nolan influence
Rice’s happiness at West Ham is of paramount importance to supporters. Fans are desperate to see the matchday captain sign a new long-term deal.
So they will be delighted to hear him declare how content he is in the current setup.
Someone who knows the inner workings of the club better than most is long-serving content producer for the club’s media team, Rob Pritchard.
And he too paid a glowing tribute to Nolan on Twitter, hailing the impact he is making.
“I worked with Nobby as captain, and now as coach,” Pritchard said.
“He’s a top man, a leader and a winner. Every game you hear him encouraging, organising and demanding hard work.
“He’s playing a big part in our improvement.”
