Hammers captain Declan Rice has issued a three-word reaction to Lucas Paqueta’s West Ham debut after a taste of what is to come.
West Ham managed to get Brazil star Paqueta registered in time to take his place in the squad against Tottenham Hotspur.
Moyes admitted before the game that the 25-year-old had not even had a chance to pass a ball to his teammates let alone train with them.

And they came within a whisker of taking all three points in the 88th minute.
But a misunderstanding between Emerson and Paqueta saw the latter denied what would surely have been a dream debut winner against West Ham’s fierce rivals.
West Ham supporters are salivating at the prospect of seeing Paqueta in the side alongside the likes of Declan Rice and Gianluca Scamacca.

Declan Rice issues three-word reaction to Lucas Paqueta’s West Ham debut after a taste of what is to come
The excitement surrounding the Brazilian’s arrival in east London was palpable as he was summoned from his warm-up on the sidelines to come on against Spurs.
The moment was nicely captured on film and posted on social media by West Ham and Paqueta.
And now Rice has issued a three-word reaction to Paqueta’s West Ham debut after a taste of what is to come.

“What a moment,” Rice said on Twitter in response to the video showing Paqueta making his West Ham debut.
The enthusiasm of Rice and West Ham fans is shared by the manager too.
After the game West Ham boss Moyes told BT Sport he was excited by Paqueta’s impressive cameo.
“I’m really looking forward to it (working with Paqueta), it’s someone who we have been monitoring really all summer and we hoped that we might get him at one point but for most of the summer it didn’t look likely,” Moyes told BT Sport.

“But when it came up late on it was great for us because we’ve been needing something which can sort of go between Declan (Rice) and Micky (Antonio) and someone who can give us a sort of number 10 role. Somebody who can play and create opportunities for us.
“Look, he didn’t disappoint today in his short cameo so I’m looking forward to getting him training, getting him used to us and hopefully he’ll make a big difference…”
