David Moyes shares disappointing Nayef Aguerd news after FCSB clash, with the West Ham centre-back unlikely to feature in the Premier League before the World Cup.
The Hammers won the game 3-0 against FCSB and as a result, qualified for the knockout phase of the Europa Conference League with a perfect group stage record.
Nayef Aguerd played his second competitive game for West Ham last night, and the Moroccan looked in tip-top form once again.
The Moroccan makes such a huge difference to David Moyes’s side when he plays, what with his pace and quality when in possession of the football.

The Scot addressed the media after his side’s fabulous 3-0 win away in Romania.
Moyes selected a second string side for the game last night, with youngster Ollie Scarles and Divin Mubama starting.
The youngsters were superb. In fairness though, many of the senior pros were as well. None more so than Aguerd.
It’s really exciting to see the 26year-old in a West Ham shirt again. Unfortunately for us though, it seems as though the Morocco international won’t be ready for Premier League football until after the World Cup.
Moyes told reporters how he’s not quite ready yet, as quoted by WHUFC.com:

I’m pleased for him. I think that will be his first 90 minutes since the end of last season. I think he will benefit from the 90 minutes. He’s certainly back now but I don’t think he’ll play for us in the Premier League before the World Cup break. But if you’re asking me if he’s fit and ready to go, yes he is, and we’re just getting him completely ready now.
That really is a big blow.
Aguerd looked in fine shape last night. Now, I totally understand that Premier League football is an entirely different kettle of fish to the Conference League.
However, it would have been great to have the Moroccan back for our final two league games before the World Cup break.
