Nikola Vlasic was left out of both friendly games last night and that’s the clearest sign yet that he is set for a West Ham exit this summer.
Hammers boss David Moyes is allegedly prepared to sell Vlasic for around £21 million this summer.
And we believe that Moyes would be wise to move the 24-year-old attacking midfielder on from the London Stadium in the summer transfer window.
The 39-capped Croatian international experienced a hugely underwhelming debut campaign with West Ham United last season.
The 24-year-old joined West Ham from CSKA Moscow last summer for around £33 million (Evening Standard). There is no chance that we will get anything like that for him now.
Vlasic bagged just one goal and two assists all season for the Hammers (Transfermarkt). And despite being played out of position, he just didn’t show enough promise.

And it seems as though the Croatian’s days in East London are numbered…
West Ham exit on the cards for Vlasic
The 24-year-old was not selected by Moyes for either of our friendlies against Boreham Wood and Ipswich Town yesterday evening.
Vlasic doesn’t have any knocks as far as we are aware. So his omission from both games would have been a crushing blow for him.
We firmly believe that Moyes was guarding against the Croatia international picking up an injury and therefore making a move away from the London Stadium difficult this summer.

Vlasic just doesn’t have the skillset needed to succeed in the Premier League in my opinion.
There is a valid argument that David Moyes played him out of position and that he wasn’t given enough chances to prove himself.
Generally though, the robust nature and ferocious speed of Premier League football just seemed to be too much to handle for him.
It seems as though a West Ham exit for Nikola Vlasic this summer is almost a formality now.
His omission from both friendly matches last night is the clearest sign yet that that will happen.
