Ben Johnson has absolutely raved about one new West Ham signing, saying that he has been a ‘fantastic addition’ for the club.
The £35 million (Sky Sports) that David Moyes paid to bring him to the London Stadium will end up being an absolute bargain in my opinion.
Scamacca has already stood out and looks like he’s in a class of his own at West Ham.
West Ham defender Ben Johnson has clearly been very impressed by the club’s new signing already.

Scamacca has bagged six goals in 14 games for West Ham so far this season (Transfermarkt). That’s a very impressive tally considering the fact that he’s only played 690 minutes.
The Italy international will undoubtedly keep getting better and better for the Hammers, but it seems as though he’s already made a big impression at the London Stadium regardless…
Ben Johnson raves about new West Ham signing
The 23-year-old striker is unquestionably the first-choice centre-forward at the London Stadium now.
And Ben Johnson told WHUFC.com that Scamacca has actually raised the standards of everyone else at West Ham:

Luca has been a fantastic addition and I think competition in all areas of the pitch makes you play better.
The Italian is technically brilliant. He offers us so much with his back to goal and when he’s facing goal.
Some of the touches that he showed against Southampton on Sunday were quite simply sensational.
And the way that he got control of the ball and spread it out wide with precision added so much potency to our play in the final third.
The one problem I have is that David Moyes doesn’t set up with players close enough to Scamacca.
We could end up in a similar situation to the one we had with Sebastien Haller if we’re not careful.
Gianluca Scamacca proved against Southampton that he could be a huge player for the Hammers.
And Ben Johnson has highlighted how happy he is that the Italian joined West Ham in the summer.
