West Ham United could very well be one of the three club who’ve made a bid for Hull City ace Keane Lewis-Potter.

Hammers boss David Moyes wants to bring the versatile 21-year-old attacker to the London Stadium this summer according to a report from The Daily Star.

Signing a promising young attacker will be one of Moyes’s top priorities in the summer transfer window.

West Ham are currently reliant on Michail Antonio as our only option through the middle.

Moyes usually likes to sign attackers who can play anywhere along the front-line – players like Jarrod Bowen for example.

So it’s easy to see why Keane Lewis-Potter would be a target for the Hammers. And we think that there is a very good chance that we’ve already made an official approach to sign him…

West Ham have probably made a bid for Keane Lewis-Potter

The 21-year-old forward is valued at around £20 million by Hull City according to the Hull Daily Mail.

And the Tigers’ vice-chairman Tan Kesler admitted that three Premier League cubs have already made offers for the exciting young talent, when speaking to Futbol Arena:

“When we bought a risky team, we believed that we could turn it into an opportunity. We are slowly starting to reap the fruits. For example, Lewis-Potter has three offers from the Premier League.”

We believe that Keane Lewis-Potter would be a great signing for West Ham.

The 21-year-old operates mostly as a left or right winger but he can also play through the middle as a centre-forward.

He was on fire in League One for Hull in the 2020/21 season, bagging 13 goals and six assists in 43 league games (Transfermarkt).

And the youngster bagged 12 goals and four assists in 46 games last term (Transfermarkt).

Lewis-Potter is a real live-wire, has impressive pace and is a very good finisher. In many ways, he is similar to his old teammate Jarrod Bowen.

Ex-Hull boss Grant McCann recently described the talented 21-year-old as an ‘excellent player’ (Hull’s official website).

And if West Ham manage to sign Keane Lewis-Potter for around £20 million, we think that will end up looking like brilliant business.
