Alex Kral posted a picture on Twitter of him taking part in training yesterday and he will surely now be part of the West Ham starting XI to face Genk tonight.
In other news…Report: West Ham could sign ‘incredible’ player from London club for absolutely nothing
The Hammers travel to Belgian today to take on the Jupiler League outfit in match day four of the Europa League group stages.
West Ham have won our first three games in Europe and are comfortable sitting top of our group.
A win tonight against Genk would all but seal a top place finish in the group for the Hammers.
David Moyes has actually worked wonders since taking over at the London Stadium hasn’t he!
The Scot will have to be smart with his team selection tonight, with Liverpool at home just around the corner.
Kral posts picture on Twitter ahead of Genk vs West Ham clash
The 23-year-old has made a slow start to life with the Hammers. He has made just one appearance so far for Moyes’s side and he actually really impressed.
Unfortunately for Kral, however, he contracted Covid during the most recent two-week international break.
He is back now though, having stayed in isolation for a couple of weeks.
And judging by the Twitter message posted by West Ham ace Kral, he is raring to go tonight:
Moyes will surely be considering resting either Declan Rice or Tomas Soucek…or both of them.
Soucek has played 90 minutes in every game apart from one (Everton away) since returning to West Ham after the last international break. The Czech ace definitely needs a rest.
And at the same time, Kral needs to be given some minutes in order to show Moyes what he’s capable of.
Tonight is the ideal time to bring Kral into the fold. And if Moyes does decide to start the 23-year-old, let’s hope that he puts on a real show in Belgium.
