West Ham United youngster Joseph Anang is reportedly set to join Derby County on a season-long loan imminently.
That’s according to talkSPORT journalist Alex Crook who claims that the 22-year-old is closing in on a loan switch to League One side Derby.
The young stopper is well behind Alphonse Areola, Lukasz Fabianski and Darren Randolph ni the goalkeeping ranks at West Ham though.

And a loan move away from the club is exactly what he needs…
Joseph Anang set to leave West Ham for Derby
Alex Crook reckons that it’s only a matter of time before the 22-year-old joins the Rams on loan:
We think that Anang is 100% doing the right thing by leaving the London Stadium on loan.
He’s a real talent and if he stayed at West Ham, he would have had no chance whatsoever of playing regularly.

The 22-year-old is very strong aerially and commands his penalty area with authority. He’s a good shot-stopper as well.
He’s still very highly-rated at the London Stadium.
And if Joseph Anang does leave West Ham on loan to join Derby, let’s hope that he is a real success.
