Gary Neville has made an exciting claim about West Ham after being blown away by the rebuild and spine of the team.
West Ham fans are not the only ones impressed by the club’s rebuild following Declan Rice’s £105m move to Arsenal.
After a thawing of initial frosty relations between David Moyes and new technical director Tim Steidten at West Ham, the pair have worked to ensure the Rice money was well spent.
Fans, pundits and even Domino’s Pizza mocked the Hammers for their inability to sign players in the immediate aftermath of Rice’s sale to the Gunners.
But fast forward a couple of months and West Ham are having the last laugh.

It may have taken time, but West Ham have impressed fans and observers with the acquisitions of Edson Alvarez and James Ward-Prowse as Rice’s replacements.
The Hammers also signed ex Arsenal defender Konstantinos Mavropanos and the hugely exciting – and coveted – Mohammed Kudus with the bulk of the Rice funds.
Moyes has declared there is life after Dec and says he believes West Ham are now stronger with their new signings.
West Ham’s ‘exceptional’ rebuild has also impressed European football experts.

Now one of Sky Sports’ leading pundits has joined the Hammers fan club.
Gary Neville has made an exciting claim about West Ham after being blown away by the rebuild and spine of the team.
Neville was speaking after West Ham’s 2-1 win at Luton which saw the club go back to the top of the Premier League before today’s handsome wins for Man City and Spurs.
And Neville believes West Ham are in for a really good season.

“I was impressed with the spine of West Ham all the way through,” Neville said on Sky Sports Friday Night Football.
“If you look at (Michail) Antonio at the top and (Kurt) Zouma at the back. Then you’ve got Alvarez and Ward-Prowse in there and obviously you’ve got (Lucas) Paqueta just floating around, I think it’s a real strong spine that they’ve got there.
“And David Moyes was obviously under massive pressure at the end of last season going into that final because he’d had a difficult Premier League (season).
“He looks like he’s got something he can really build on. They can have a really good season.”
West Ham’s win at Luton put the seal on the club’s – and Moyes’ – joint best ever start to a Premier League season.
