West Ham United’s under-18s have been in superb form so far this season, and are sitting pretty at the top of the table.
Kevin Keen is in charge of the under-18s this season, and the former West Ham player is working wonders.
One of the standout performers for us this season has been Dan Rigge. The 17-year-old attacking midfielder has 11 goals and five assists to his name in 19 games for the U-18s so far this term (Transfermarkt).
David Moyes must be incredibly excited about some of the talent currently coming through the ranks at the London Stadium.
He scored an absolute wonder goal for us earlier this season against Derby County, and he really does seem like the total package.
Rigge was at it once again for the Hammers during our 4-2 win away at Aston Villa today…

West Ham teenager scores hat-trick for under-18s
Rigge bagged a superb hat-trick for the under-18s away at Villa today. The 4-2 win took us six points clear of second place Chelsea, although they do have four games in hand on us.
Incredibly, we were actually 2-1 down heading into the 90th minute before Rigge scored two more goals to add to his first-half strike, and then Mehmet Halim made it 4-2 seven minutes into time added on.
What an unreal young talent we have on our hands.
West Ham allegedly beat SIX clubs in the race to tie down Dan Rigge to a new contract last year, and that now looks like a real coup for the club.
He can play on either wing or in the number 10 position, and is incredibly technically gifted. If he continues to work hard and applies himself properly both on and off the pitch, he’ll undoubtedly go on to succeed at the very highest level.
For now though, his main priority should be to keep producing the goods for the West Ham under-18s side.
