Special striker’s comments will give West Ham fans great hope for the future, as a new generation of stars begin to make names for themselves.

18-year-old striker Divin Mubama has played a key role for the Hammers under-18s and under21s so far this season.

The London-born starlet has already established himself with the first-team as well, playing and scoring (despite what UEFA might say) for West Ham in the Europa Conference League at the start of last month.

Mubama’s form for the youth teams is surely making it impossible for David Moyes to ignore him for the future as well.

There are so many exciting young talents coming through the ranks at the London Stadium at the moment. And Mubama is certainly one of the very best.

And the talented teenager’s latest comments will really get the Hammers fans’ juices flowing…

Divin Mubama clearly has everything needed to go on and become a real star at the London Stadium.

The great thing is that there are plenty of others just like him. Ollie Scarles, Jamal Baptiste, Armstrong Okoflex and Dan Chesters are all exceptional young talents.

And Mubama has offered great hope to the long suffering West Ham fans about our future, when speaking to WHUFC.com:

We are in a really good place right now. The atmosphere in this group and around the whole Academy is fantastic right now and that really helps us as players. We are really together as a group, and we all get along really well. The main thing for me is to be playing football. Whether I am playing with the U21s or whether I am playing with the U18s. I have standards and I want to meet those standards every time I play. When we drop down from the U21s it’s our responsibility to push the standards in the squad. We have to add more quality to the squad, and we have to demonstrate that we can help the team.

What a positive message that is to hear.

We know that we have plenty of talented young footballers, but it seems as though they are mentally strong as well, whilst being an incredibly tight knit group too.

The sky will be the limit for Mubama and his peers, as long as they continue to work hard, and apply themselves properly both on and off the pitch.

The special young striker’s comments will give West Ham fans great hope for the future.

Let’s hope that all of the club’s best youngsters go on to reach their full potential at the London Stadium.
