‘Incredible’ 20-year-old West Ham ace on the double during under-23’s 5-1 Leeds rout

Armstrong Okoflex was on the double for West Ham under-23s during a 5-1 victory over Leeds yesterday afternoon.

The Hammers youngsters are enjoying a very good season so far.

Mark Robson’s men are currently sitting in second place in the Premier League 2 table, just six points adrift of league leaders Manchester City and with a game in hand.

David Moyes will be incredibly excited about the current crop of talent coming through the ranks. Armstrong Okoflex has been a standout performer for the under-23s this season and he seemingly has a very bright future ahead of him in the game.

Okoflex joined West Ham on a free transfer from Celtic in the summer and he has already made a huge impression at the London Stadium.

The 20-year-old has bagged 15 goals and three assists for the U-23s this season (Transfermarkt).

And he was at it again against Leeds under-23’s last night…

The Hammers youngsters won the Premier League Cup last 16 tie 5-1 and are now through to the quarter-finals where we will play Fulham.

The Dublin-born attacker scored two goals for Mark Robson’s side, with the other three coming from Dan Chesters, Sonny Perkins and Emmanuel Longelo.

He has been described as an ‘incredible’ talent by The Scottish Sun.

The sky really will be the limit for Okoflex, as long as he continues to work hard and applies himself properly off the pitch.

He has all of the attributes needed to go on and succeed at the very highest level.

And the 20-year-old’s performance for West Ham under-23s against Leeds yesterday afternoon was further evidence of just how much quality he possesses.
