Big West Ham attendance update ahead of crunch Europa League clash with Olympiacos as thousands of seats remain unsold.
West Ham fans may have to enjoy Europe while it lasts after the dismal recent run of Premier League form.
Defeat to Brentford at the weekend has seen the Hammers slip into the bottom half of the table as we near a third of the way through the season.
The team has serious failings in defence and up front with a lack of quality evident in the performances of Michail Antonio and Nayef Aguerd in particular all season.
Barring a big turnaround and given the quality of the sides in and around the European spots, it is now looking highly unlikely West Ham will qualify for Europe via the Premier League.

Of course West Ham could still win the FA Cup to qualify for next season’s Europa League, the Carabao Cup to make next season’s Conference League or the Europa League to make next term’s Champions League.
Indeed should West Ham finish third in their group, they will drop down into the Conference League for the chance to defend their title and qualify for the Europa League next season.
But while plenty of avenues remain open, fans should enjoy every minute of their current European adventure.
There’s a big West Ham attendance update ahead of the crunch Europa League clash with Olympiacos as thousands of seats remain unsold.

Massive game for West Ham’s last 16 hopes
West Ham currently top Europa League Group A by virtue of a better head-to-head record against Freiburg.
And David Moyes’ side can take a big step towards making the last 16 with revenge over Greek giants Olympiacos at the London Stadium on Thursday night.
The visitors beat West Ham 2-1 in Greece last week.
If West Ham can finish top they will advance straight to the last 16 – as they have done the last two seasons.
Finish second and the Hammers will face a two-legged play-off against a Champions League dropout for the right to make the last 16.

Get ’em to the Greeks – over 8k empty seats at London Stadium for Olympiacos clash
As mentioned, third place would see demotion to the Conference League and a play-off for the last 16 of that competition.
So there is a lot riding on Thursday night’s game and West Ham fans will need to make it a hostile atmosphere.
But at the time of writing on Sunday evening there are still 8,148 empty seats for the game.
West Ham will be hoping fans rally to snap up the remaining tickets, the vast majority of which are in the London Stadium’s upper tiers.
Most of the remaining tickets range between £15-30 with a small number in the lower tiers priced at £70.
