Nuno Espirito Santo clearly believes that West Ham United need more depth across the forward line in the January transfer window.

That’s strange, considering the fact that West Ham have conceded more goals in the Premier League than any other club.

But that’s a debate for another time.

At the moment, it is attacking January transfer window additions that Nuno Espirito Santo seems to be after.

West Ham are trying to get rid of the deadwood in the January transfer window, in order to boost Nuno’s transfer coffers.

And the good news is that at least one more player seems set to join the Hammers.

Nuno has already brought Taty Castellanos and Pablo Felipe to the London Stadium this winter.

The Hammers boss is far from done though.

He is said to have his eye on another forward as he continues with his attempts to add more potency to his front-line.

Now Venezuelan journalist Elias Lopez has provided a huge update for West Ham fans.

He claims that Deportivo La Guaira winger Keiber Lamadrid is currently in Paris and is set to undergo a medical ahead of joining the Hammers.

Keiber Lamadrid an exciting signing for West Ham

He is a lively left winger with explosive pace and impressive technical ability.

Lamadrid has bagged 14 goals and seven assists in 103 games for his club.

He is fairly unique in the sense that he is a left-footed left winger!

If you could only keep ONE of these two players in January – who would it be?!

Lamadrid likes to get to the byline and whip in crosses for centre-forwards to attack.

So West Ham signing the Venezuelan could well help get the best out of the two new strikers – Taty and Pablo.

Lamadrid will join West Ham on an initial loan deal, with a view to a permanent transfer.

It will be fascinating to see whether Nuno uses Lamadrid to provide more competition for Crysencio Summerville on the left or switches him to the right to challenge Jarrod Bowen for his place.
