West Ham United’s January transfer window business is really beginning to heat up now.

Nuno Espirito Santo has already brought two new players to West Ham in the January transfer window.

The Hammers boss will be well aware that he needs to sign two or three more top-class players as well if he is to keep his team in the Premier League.

While West Ham have made a big January transfer window statement by signing two strikers, Nuno cannot allow this window to pass without bringing in an elite centre-back at the very least.

If you could only keep ONE of these two players in January – who would it be?!

The Hammers could do with signing a powerful, ball-carrying central midfielder as well.

However, before any more incomings, yet another player could be set to part ways with West Ham this month.

Medical imminent as West Ham could seal fifth January transfer window exit

The West Ham owners seem to be clearing out as much of the deadwood as they possibly can in the January window.

That is exactly what they should be doing as well.

Too many underperforming players are sitting on very good money at the club right now, and that cannot be allowed to continue.

According to a report from Record, Hammers midfielder Guido Rodriguez is set to fly out to Brazil to undergo a medical with Gremio.

Gremio are allegedly prepared to pay £2.6 million for the 31-year-old.

That sounds like good business for the Hammers.

It has been claimed that Guido Rodriguez is actively pushing to leave West Ham in the January window.

The former Real Betis man has been a real flop since moving to the London Stadium 18 months ago, and an exit from the club this month would be the ideal solution for all parties involved.

Guido Rodriguez soon to become the fifth West Ham January exit

Luis Guilherme left to join Sporting on a permanent deal earlier in the January transfer window.

Meanwhile, Scottish midfielder Andy Irving has just joined Sparta Prague on a permanent deal.

How big of a MISTAKE would letting Callum Wilson leave prove to be?

Niclas Fullkrug and Callum Marshall have joined AC Milan and VfL Bochum respectively on loan deals.

Now Guido Rodriguez could well be the fifth player to leave West Ham United in the January transfer window.

Most Hammers fans will surely be delighted to see the back of the 31-year-old Argentine midfielder this winter.

He is simply not good enough to play in the Premier League and that much was obvious as soon as West Ham signed him back in 2024.
