West Ham wasn’t to sign Osasuna midfielder Jon Moncayola this summer according to a report from Spanish publication AS.

Central midfield is certainly a position where Hammers boss David Moyes will be looking to strengthen at the London Stadium this summer.
Declan Rice and Tomas Soucek have been magnificent together for West Ham in the middle of the park this season.
Moyes has little in reserve aside from the ageing Mark Noble, however.
West Ham chasing Jon Moncayola?
The Hammers are weighing up a summer bid for the Osasuna midfield ace according to a report from Spanish publication AS.
The 23-year-old has a €12 million (£10.3 million) release clause inserted into his current contract with the La Liga club according to AS.
The Spaniard is an orthodox central midfielder although he is incredibly versatile and can also play in the defensive midfield role and even at right-back.
In 36 La Liga games for Osasuna this season, Moncayola racked up two goals. During those outings, the 23-year-old averaged 1.7 tackles, 0.6 interceptions, one clearance and 1.2 dribbles per game. He averaged 31.4 passes per match and recorded an impressive completion rate of 81.7% (Who Scored).
£10.3 million seems like an absolute bargain for the Spaniard.

And West Ham should not hesitate to pay that fee for Moncayola this summer.
