West Ham want to sign an England youth star Jack Grealish says is a top player as a new report makes Alex Scott claim.
Inspired by the Red Bull model, David Moyes vowed to build West Ham around young, hungry players with a particular focus on the Championship market.
Moyes recently conceded West Ham will struggle to truly compete in the transfer market with the so-called top clubs.
And the Scot doubled down on his intention to try and beat the elite to identifying young talent.
The Championship and France are key areas Moyes and head of recruitment Rob Newman have been focusing on. And they have also cast the net wider to Brazil.

Well it seems Moyes is staying true to that recruitment philosophy at West Ham ahead of the summer window.
Because West Ham want to sign an England youth star Jack Grealish says is a top player as a report makes Alex Scott claim.
Teenage Bristol City sensation Scott is an England youth international and his manager Nigel Pearson says he will go on to make the senior side.
The Mail and Bristol Post claim West Ham are ‘keen’ on signing Scott in the summer and are ‘monitoring his situation’.
City expect a bidding war for Scott and the Hammers are said to be in the queue for the 19-year-old according to the reports.
Scott’s reputation has flourished of late after he was singled out for praise by Man City boss Pep Guardiola following Bristol City’s 3-0 FA Cup defeat to them in the FA Cup.
The Spaniard called him an “unbelievable player”.

Scott says he models his game on Man City and England attacking midfield star Grealish.
And the former Villa man clearly rates the alleged West Ham target highly, calling him a ‘top, top talent’ on Twitter.
That’s some praise from a £100m Premier League winner and England international. Not to mention arguably the best manager in the world in Guardiola.
This is exactly the kind of signing West Ham should be making.
A large number of West Ham’s most successful transfers over the last 20 to 30 years have been value buys from the Championship.
Let’s hope Scott is the next one if West Ham do pursue him come the summer window.
