West Ham United are being linked with a move to sign Arsenal striker Eddie Nketiah in the January transfer window.

West Ham boss David Moyes desperately needs to bring a new striker to the London Stadium either in January or the summer.
Micky competition needed
Michail Antonio is currently our only recognised senior centre-forward.
That clearly isn’t acceptable for a club with aspirations of succeeding both domestically and on the continent.
It seems as though Moyes has a plan to address that issue though.
West Ham ready to move for Arsenal striker in January transfer window
Transfer Market Web claims that Gunners youngster Eddie Nketiah is on the Hammers’ radar.

The north London outfit will be looking for around £10 million for the London-born hitman.
He is out of contract in the summer, however, so unless he signs a new deal, Arsenal will be very lucky to get that kind of fee.
The 22-year-old isn’t a bad young striker at all. He has plenty of pace and movement and is a very hard worker.
The Gunners hitman has absolutely no kind of physical presence through the middle though, and his goalscoring record is fairly poor to say the least with just 20 goals in 86 senior games to his name (Transfermarkt).

So there are definite warning signs for West Ham. We think Nketiah has great potential, however. If he does manage to bulk up and improve upon his finishing, he could still be a top class Premier League player.
The young Londoner certainly has the raw ingredients needed to make an impact at the highest level.
West Ham eyeing Arsenal January transfer window swoop
Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta is clearly a fan. He described Nketiah as ‘extraordinary’ last season (Metro).
Moyes has a great track record of improving underperforming Premier League players.

And perhaps Nketiah will be the next player to reach his potential under the West Ham boss.
West Ham signing the Arsenal striker in the January transfer window would undoubtedly split the fanbase.
But as usual, we will all have to put our trust in Moyes, if we do indeed bring Eddie to East London in January!
