West Ham are interested in signing Cameron Carter-Vickers, who is currently on loan with Celtic from Tottenham, in the summer transfer window.
That’s according to a report from TEAMtalk who claims that the 24-year-old Tottenham loanee is being chased by numerous different clubs ahead of the transfer window.

West Ham boss David Moyes desperately needs to bring a top-class central defender to the London Stadium in the summer.
Angelo Ogbonna is still out with a long-term injury and will be 34 before the start of next season. Meanwhile, Craig Dawson will be 32 and Issa Diop just isn’t good enough to be playing regular Premier League football.

And it seems as though Moyes thinks that a Tottenham owned player could be the answer…
West Ham eye Tottenham owned centre-back swoop in summer transfer window
TEAMtalk suggest that Cameron Carter-Vickers, currently on loan with Celtic, is a transfer target for the Hammers.
TEAMtalk claim that West Ham could face competition from five clubs for Carter-Vickers’ signature, however – Celtic, Leicester, Wolves, Burnley and Watford.
It is alleged that Spurs want around £10 million for the centre-back in the summer (TEAMtalk).
The eight-capped United States of America international has really impressed during his loan spell with Celtic this season.
In 22 Scottish Premiership appearances for the Hoops, the 24-year-old has averaged 0.9 tackles, 1.3 interceptions, 4.7 clearances and 4.5 successful aerial duels per game (Who Scored).

He has also scored two goals.
Carter-Vickers is a very good passer of the football as well. In 22 league games this term, the American has made 88.5 passes per game on average and has recorded an incredibly impressive completion rate of 89.4% (Who Scored).
For £10 million, Carte-Vickers would be a decent acquisition for West Ham.
It must be said though, it’s highly doubtful that Tottenham will sell the American to us, especially considering the fact that there are is many other clubs chasing his signature.
There is another train of thought that the 24-year-old actually isn’t good enough for Premier League football, however. He hasn’t pulled up any tress in England’s top flight after all and he’s 24 don’t forget.
Perhaps there are better options out there available for West Ham in the summer.
This could be a very busy summer transfer window for West Ham and Tottenham. Whether Moyes manages to bring one of Spurs’ players to East London, however, remains to be seen.
