And if the Hammers manage to beat the Gunners to the 21-year-old’s signature, it would be a massive statement from the East London outfit.

West Ham are flying high in fifth spot in the Premier League table at the moment.

We are seven points and four places ahead of Arsenal.

Mikel Arteta has done a fine job at the Emirates. The Spaniard is overseeing gradual progress and the Gunners are somewhat of a sleeping giant at the moment.

If The Hammers can qualify for the Champions League, however, there is no reason why we shouldn’t be able to beat the north London club to the signing of Jesper Lindstrom.

The 21-year-old Dane has been in fine form for Brondby this season.

The attacking midfielder has racked up nine goals and nine assists in 22 league games (Transfermarkt).

Lindstrom is a really exciting young talent. He is valued at around £5 million but according to Jeunes Footeux, he will cost a lot more than that.

Voetbal 24 have suggested that it will take around £8 million to prise him away from Brondby.

The young star is an incredibly talented footballer.

He has a keen eye for a killer pass and is very cool and composed in front of goal.

Brondby manager Niels Frederiksen recently described Lindstrom as a ‘magical player’.

The 21-year-old has all of the attributes needed to go on and become a real star in the game.

And if West Ham manage to beat Arsenal to his signature, it will be a huge statement of intent from the East London club ahead of next season.
