West Ham United are back to work in the transfer window as David Moyes strives to build on their Europa Conference League title. So, keep up to date on the Irons’ confirmed deals here.
The London Stadium outfit endured a disappointing season in the Premier League but sealed silverware in Europe in 2022/23. Moyes only guided West Ham to a 14th-place finish and sat just six points above the relegation zone. Yet he oversaw their first European title since 1965.

Edson Alvarez – West Ham confirmed their first signing of the summer on August 10 with the 25-year-old joining from AFC Ajax. The Irons paid an initial £33m, plus £2.5m in add-ons, for the Mexico midfielder. He left Amsterdam as a two-time Eredivisie winner after 147 outings.
James Ward-Prowse – West Ham finalised the arrival of the 28-year-old in a £30m transfer from Southampton on August 14. The England midfielder left the Saints as their club captain after 20 years. The Portsmouth-born Southampton product left with 55 goals in 410 fixtures.
Konstantinos Mavropanos – West Ham confirmed the signing of the 25-year-old centre-half from VfB Stuttgart for £20m on August 22. The Greek also agreed to a five-year contract at London Stadium to return to the Premier League. He played in just seven games for Arsenal.
Mohammed Kudus – West Ham sealed the arrival of the sought-after 23-year-old from AFC Ajax on August 27. The Irons paid an initial £35.5m plus £2.5m in add-ons for the Ghanaian, who penned a five-year deal. Kudus left Amsterdam after scoring 27 goals across 87 games.

Arthur Masuaku – Besiktas confirmed the left-back’s permanent signing from West Ham on April 17. He joined the Super Lig giants for €2m (£1.7m) after his season on loan at Vodafone Stadium. Masuaku signed with the Hammers from Olympiacos for £6m back in August 2016.
Declan Rice – Arsenal broke their club record to sign the England midfielder from West Ham on July 15. The Irons product left London Stadium for an initial £100m, rising to £105m, after 245 senior games. His last act as the Irons’ captain was lifting the Europa Conference League.
Gianluca Scamacca – Atalanta BC sealed an initial £22.5m transfer for the 24-year-old from West Ham on August 7. The forward could end up costing the Serie A side a further £4.5m in add-ons. He cost the Irons £30.5m, rising to £35.5m plus a 10% sell-on clause, in July 2022.
Nikola Vlasic – Torino secured a permanent transfer from West Ham for the 25-year-old on August 8. The Croatian had spent the 2022/23 campaign on loan with the Serie A side. The Irons cut their losses on their £27m, rising to £34.5m, signing after one goal over 31 games.

Nathan Trott – West Ham confirmed Vejle BK had signed the 24-year-old for a second year on loan on June 23. The goalkeeper spent the 2022/23 term at the Danish team and won the second-tier title. He also started all 25 of his games for 14 clean sheets to 17 goals allowed.
Krisztian Hegyi – Stevenage secured the signing of the 20-year-old on loan from West Ham for the 23/24 season on July 21. It is the Hungary U21 goalkeeper’s first move away from the Irons since joining in 2019. He had progressed to captain the Hammers’ youth side in 22/23.
Freddie Potts – Wycombe Wanderers announced the arrival of the 19-year-old on loan from West Ham for the 2023/24 campaign on July 28. The defensive midfielder agreed to his first temporary switch after making two appearances in the 2022/23 Europa Conference League.
Kamari Sawyer – Crawley Town confirmed the signing of the 20-year-old in a term-long loan transfer from West Ham on July 29. The Irons had given the attacking midfielder a new, two-year contract on July 26. He also enjoyed his senior debut in the Europa Conference League.
Flynn Downes – Southampton sealed the signing of the 24-year-old on loan from West Ham for the 2023/24 season on August 21. The midfielder switched to St Mary’s 13 months after signing for the Irons. He left Swansea City for £12m but started in 15 of his 35 appearances.
Mason Terry – Concord Rangers confirmed the signing of the 18-year-old from West Ham in a season-long loan on August 25. The moved marked the goalkeeper’s first spell away from east London since joining the Irons’ academy. He featured regularly for their U18s in 22/23.

Manuel Lanzini – West Ham confirmed in their released and retained list on June 16 that the Argentine would leave London Stadium at the end of his contract. The 30-year-old had 226 appearances with the Hammers after joining from Al Jazira for £9m in 2016 after a loan spell.

Sean Moore – West Ham’s academy confirmed their first signing of the summer on June 30 as the 17-year-old joined them from NIFL Premiership side Cliftonville. The forward signed a three-year professional contract with the Hammers. He will initially play for their Under-21s.
