West Ham United are trying to get a deal agreed with Manchester United for Jesse Lingard now.
Insider says West Ham could ‘easily’ sign coveted striker this summer
That is the exciting new claim from Eurosport today.
Lingard has been a sensation since signing for West Ham on loan from Man United in January.
West Ham are desperate to sign Lingard permanently but his future has been the subject of much conjecture of late.

Speculation has been rife over Lingard’s future
The Hammers did not have a set option to buy agreement in place with Man United as part of the loan deal.
Speculation has been rife over whether West Ham can get a deal done.
Some reports have suggested Lingard could cost the Hammers as much as £30 million. Others claim Man United want him back (The Sun). And some state other clubs from Leicester to PSG and even Real Madrid are interested.
There was a huge boost for West Ham today, though, if a new report from Eurosport is accurate.
It claims Lingard has told Man United he wants the permanent move on offer from West Ham.

West Ham trying to get deal done now – report
And the Hammers have even been working on getting a deal in place with the Red Devils now rather than wait until the summer.
“Jesse Lingard is almost certain to push for a permanent move from Manchester United this summer,” Eurosport reports.
“Lingard was frustrated and unimpressed by the lack of faith Ole Gunnar Solskjaer showed in him before letting him out on loan in January.
“West Ham have tried to accelerate a decision from United over a full-time move, given his brilliant form, but United do not want to make a decision until the summer.
“West Ham know he is happy at the club and are convinced that if they qualify for Europe he will be happy to explore a long stay.

‘Hammers await Man United’s answer and terms’
“They tried to open up the potential of signing Lingard on a permanent deal for £15 million in January but it was knocked back because United knew they would be able to command a bigger fee if his loan spell went well.
“Officials from West Ham are now waiting to find out what the terms of an agreement would need to be.”
With squad sizes increased to 26 for this summer’s Euros today, Lingard looks a dead cert to be involved in the England squad.
So getting a deal agreed before then would be a wise move for West Ham.
