West Ham United’s transfer activity will start imminently according to club insider ExWHUemployee.
Many clubs in the Premier League have already strengthened and those that haven’t seem to be very close to doing so.
The Hammers, meanwhile, seem a long way off securing any signings at all.
David Moyes has brought three young players to the London Stadium but none of them are likely to feature for the first-team next season.
The Scot will be a busy man this summer. He needs to sign at least four or five players in order to make the Hammers competitive on all fronts next season.
West Ham transfer activity to start soon Ex claims
With the Hammers players and staff set to return to Rush Green soon for pre-season training, ExWHUemployee thinks transfer business will also begin imminently.
The West Ham insider has said that he expects transfer activity to really start in East London at the start of July.
Let’s hope that Ex is spot on. West Ham really need to get their ducks in a row with just six weeks or so remaining until the new season kicks off.
Moyes should be looking to sign a new centre-forward, a central midfielder, a centre-back and Jesse Lingard on a permanent deal. In an ideal world, the Scot would sign a left-back, a goalkeeper and a second striker as well!

Beggars can’t be choosers, however. If we get three or four signings done this summer, we will accept that.
The clock is ticking though. and West Ham need to get some business done soon in order to appease the fans.
