Issa Diop leaving West Ham this summer is not a realistic scenario according to club insiders Claret and Hugh.

The 24-year-old joined the Hammers from Toulouse in the summer of 2018 for around £25 million (BBC).
And now he could be set for a London Stadium exit with AC Milan tracking the towering centre-back according to Gazzetta dello Sport journalist Salvatore Cantone.
Diop enjoyed an impressive debut campaign in England with West Ham.
He has struggled badly over the past couple of seasons, however.
Issa Diop leaving West Ham not an option
Claret and Hugh claims that despite Milan’s interest in the 24-year-old and his patchy form over the past two seasons, he is still rated highly at the London Stadium.
David Moyes sees great potential in Diop and does not want to sell him. Certainly not this summer.
West Ham are very light in the centre-back department.
So it would take a truly massive offer for Moyes to even contemplate selling the former Toulouse man this summer.
Diop could still go on to become a top class centre-back. And Moyes is just the man to help coax that talent and potential out of him.

Selling Diop is surely not the right call. Not now. If he fails to impress next season, however, then perhaps it will be time for the player and club to go their separate ways.
