According to a report from the Daily Star, West Ham United are set to attempt to sign Sevilla ace Youssef En-Nesyri once again in the summer.
Hammers boss David Moyes chose not to bring a new striker to the London Stadium in the summer.
Let’s just hope that that decision doesn’t cost us dearly.
Sevilla hitman Youssef En-Nesyri was one of the many strikers linked with a move to West Ham last month.
The Athletic claimed towards the end of January that the Hammers had made a £27 million bid for the 23-year-old – one that was swiftly rejected by Sevilla.
West Ham to try again for Youssef En-Nesyri?
It appears as though the Hammers have not been deterred in their quest to sign the Morocco international.
The Daily Star reckons David Moyes will make another attempt to bring En-Nesyri to the London Stadium in the summer .
West Ham are allegedly prepared to pay around £35 million for the player described as a ‘prolific poacher’ by The Athletic.
The Morocco international has been in superb form for Sevilla this season. He has scored 16 goals in 30 games thus far (Transfermarkt).
The 23-year-old is lively, quick, has great mobility and movement and would be a terrific addition for West Ham.
Whether the Hammers board are genuinely prepared to spend big in order to bring En-Nesyri to the London Stadium, however, remains to be seen.
